I have been involved with the study of human movement my entire life and have been a personal trainer and manual therapist for the last 13 years helping clients from all walks of life. My focus and passion is injury mitigation using strength training combined with specific mobility and soft tissue work to rehabilitate musculoskeletal disorders and movement dysfunction.
I especially enjoy helping others integrate mobility, flexibility, neurological function, pre/post-rehabilitation, and maintaining a well-balanced movement practice into their health and fitness regiment.
I have worked with professional athletes, weekend warriors, and those who simply want to focus on health and longevity.
About me: I started my own “training” at a very young age participating in Karate, reaching black belt by the age of 10. That introduction to martial arts then progressed to a variety of sports including swimming, cycling, cross country running, soccer, and also ballroom dancing. I am a graduate of Humboldt State University where I continued my athletic career in rugby, rowing, and triathlons while earning my BS in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Exercise Science.
